Teaching Weekend Information
Dr Stephen Boreland trusted the Lord Jesus Christ to be his Saviour when he was 14 years of age. Later, he went to Belfast Bible College and entered his first pastorate for three years in Southport. He was then called to be Pastor of Ballyclare Baptist Church, Co. Antrim, and was there for 22 years. In March this year he was called to the ministry to Bethesda Free Church, Sunderland.
Stephen has graduated with MA; BD & Ph.D in theology. He has taken tours to Israel and shared ministry with Don Hender in Israel and on three occasions they shared ministry in South Africa.
Both Stephen and Don are well versed in Bible Prophecy and relevant scriptures sharing ministry and conferences together.
Dr Don Hender is a retired teacher, having been a scripture specialist to High Schools in England. He has visited Israel taking tours and giving ministry on seven occasions. He has travelled to the USA, India, Australia, and Eastern Europe for ministry and teaching students. Don had been on the Council of the Prophetic Witness Movement and is one of their accredited Bible teachers. He is currently the UK Field Representative for the Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry (USA). He lives in Bournemouth.
Don graduated with MA; B.Th.;D.Th;Ph.D and D. Litt. in theology.
Both Stephen and Don believe that ministry today disregards many of the Bible prophecy truths in the Word of God, especially the pre-tribulation return of Christ for His Church, the eventual return of Christ to a restored Israel at the end of the Great Tribulation; the literal Millennial reign of Christ in fulfilment of Old and New Testament prophecy, to become King of Israel and ruler over the nations.
Their concern is to re-emphasise these wonderful prophetic truths to the believers in the Church.

Prayer Focus....
We welcome your prayers for the church. Please pray for godly leaders, for men who will lead the church under the Lord's guidance.
The Building....
The focus of our work at present is to consider the best way to proceed with the building structure that we have, or whether it will be possible to demolish and replace. Plans will be drawn up and submitted to the local council. All this requires funds, so again we welcome your prayers that the Lord will supply our needs (much as He has done so miraculously thus far, praise His Name!)
